Launch Instagram > Profile > Tap 3-line button > Settings > Privacy > Activity Status > Switch off Show activity status toggle
Follow these steps:
1. On your profile, tap the hamburger menu (the three stripes) and select Settings.
2. Go to Privacy > Activity Status. And from there, simply toggle off Show activity status.
