Via web through Google Contact
- Launch the browser on your laptop.
- Go to Google Contacts.
- If you haven’t logged in yet, please log in first using the same google account that you use in your Android smartphone.
- Now, click the 3-line button, select Merge & fix.
- After that, you will see the duplicate contacts of yours there.
- Select the contacts that you want to merge and click Merge on the top of the section or on each of the contact.
- Last, restart your Android smartphone to see you changes you made previously.
Through Contacts
- Launch Phone app on your Android.
- After that, tap the Contacts tab on the bottom of the screen.
- Then, tap the 3-dot button on the top-right corner of the screen.
- When the menu list appears, choose Manage contacts.
- Now, tap the Merge contacts. The menu is on the first line of the list.
- There, you will see the contacts that are duplicated. To merge those contacts, you can select one by one or directly mark all using Select All.
- Once you chose the contacts, the Merge button on the bottom of the screen is active. Now, tap it.
- Next, those contacts will be merged successfully.
