The Steps to Activate the Print History

- The Windows 10 Event Viewer is launched. We can do this by typing Event Viewer into the taskbar’s search box.
- The options are displayed under Application logs.
- We expand the Microsoft> Windows> PrintService option.
- We select the Operative option by right-clicking it.
- We choose Properties.
- We navigate to the General tab in the window that appears.
- Select the Enable registration checkbox.
- Check the box If necessary, overwrite events.
- Select the Apply button.
- Accept the offer by clicking the Accept button.
We can also specify the maximum size of the print log in the General tab of the registry properties window. As we can see, the default size is 1028 KB.
In any case, once this is completed, we will have activated Windows 10’s printing history, and everything we print from then on will be recorded. Now, whenever we want to check the documents we’ve printed, we’ll have to reopen the Event Viewer and follow the steps outlined below.
